Random shots over they past few days...
Too cute for words!!
Bella is going to play T-ball this season and I am her coach!! Something I have never done before, should be FUN!! On Wednesday I had our first coaches meeting. I got our team roster, game schedule, set up our practice times and picked up our equipment!! When I got home with the equipment Bella and Vinny were fascinated with it all. Vincent saw the helmet and said "hat, hat " and put it on is head. The thing was way to big for him, it was too funny. He walked around for over and hour with that on his head. We start practice later this week and our first game is at the end of the month. Our team name is the Killer Whales. I will post more about T-Ball as the season progresses.

Vincent LOVES his crocs!! He wakes up and wants them on and will wear them all day!! If I take them off for any reason he will go get them and put them on, he's just not good at getting them on the right feet, but he is so proud of himself when he gets them on, just too cute!! I couldn't resist taking a picture of him with his crocs on the wrong feet!

I found it difficult to find a good patch of bluebonnets this year, but we went out and took some pictures anyway. Not the best bluebonnets but cute pictures of the kids and we had a great afternoon. I found it difficult to get good pictures of them together, Bella will pose all day long, but Vinny not so much, he sits still for a few seconds, not long enough to get a good shot of them together, I think if we go out again I will take along some help!!
Below is a slide show of more pictures from Bella's 5th birthday party. We went all out this year, 5 just felt like something we needed to make a BIG deal out of. We love birthdays around here. We have been to BLORA's Horse Riding Ranch and enjoyed riding their pony, Peanut. Fortunately you can rent a pavilion and Peanut for the day. The week before the party it rained every day and I was nervous about the weather, I prayed for no rain and our prayer was answered BUT it did turn COLD, 30 degrees the morning of the party with close to 30 mph winds. ( the temp was about 50 by the time of the party). Nothing was going to stop our fun!!! We had it set up for each child to get a pony ride for 5-10min, feed Peanut (carrots and apples, she really liked the carrots), pin the tail on the pony, toss the bag thru the horseshoe game, pony tattoos for all the kids, horseshoes to play and a pony pinata!! We grilled hot dogs to eat and had lots of finger foods for the kids to eat while running and playing. We lost her favorite balloon to the high winds. We thought we had tied things down well when her cake literally flew across the pavilion, landed flat on the ground upright!!! No damage done, it was an unbelievable sight to watch, that we all saw in slow motion. We all just stood there in shock, then finally put the cake back on the table and held in down with a jug of water, weight and more horseshoes. ( It was originally being held down with just horseshoes, guess they are lucky). I have made every birthday cake so far and I think this may have been the most difficult!! Thank goodness for great directions off the Internet and Dave's help!!! Even with the crazy cold weather and high winds the party was a success, the kids had fun and most importantly she had a birthday to remember!! Thanks to everyone who came and braved the weather.
