No Sir!!

It has been a while since I have made a post, but things in the Palmisano household have changed!! Vincent is crawling and climbing, making keeping up with him much more difficult!! Which is why "No Sir" has been the comment of choice in the house lately. He has been trying to crawl for a while, he figured it out about 2 weeks ago. I have had to go through and baby proof the house again. He has learned how to crawl up on things and pull up on everything!! Needless to say we have had many boo-boos!! He will crawl up on the fireplace and sit on it, he pulled up on Isabella's chair the other day only to have her stand up, he fell and the chair fell on top of him(thankfully it was a small chair and on carpet). We all had tears with that one. He loves to eat and play with the dirt in my plants.
On the plus side he is a lot of fun to play with now, he will follow you anywhere you go, esp. Isabella. Which has been challenging, the other day she got him to follow her into her tent then zipped him in it and left him. She has also trapped him in her room. We have had to have talks about appropriate play with Vincent. One thing that he does love to do is find you, we will hide on one side of the couch and when he finds us he just laughs and laughs!! I had forgotten how exhausting and dangerous this stage could be. Isabella and I have had countless talks about what kind and size of toys can be on the floor and which are dangerous.
I am exhausted and the house is a mess and now he is getting more teeth #4 and 5 and they have been painful!! Hopefully they will break through in the next day or two.

Family Fun

We have needed some good family fun, so we headed to San Antonio for a few days. We were really able to enjoy the time together. We relaxed in the hotel, enjoyed the river walk and best of all went to Sea World. This was our first trip to Sea World, Isabella had a great time and Vincent tolerated it quite well. At one point he took a 2hr nap in his stroller!! We were able to cool off in some of the attractions which was nice for us, esp. Vinny. Since Dave had some time off during the week and we went before schools got out, there were very few lines, most of the rides Isabella was able to ride then get off run around and ride again without a wait. Instant gratification is nice for a 4yr old!!

The Rain Forest Cafe on the River Walk. This was a fun dinner for everyone. I wish we had one closer to us.

The Alamo, Dave loves this place...he is a history buff!!

Here are a few from Sea World...

The next three pictures come with a story. This is the Atlantis roller coaster/water ride. When Isabella saw this she knew she just had to ride it. There was a bar your head had to touch in order to ride, I knew that she probably wouldn't be tall enough so I was not to worried. Being the smart one that she is, she knew that all she had to do was stand on her tippy toes and she would be tall enough to ride, the attended nor her father caught her on her tippy toes so they let her on. I am watching this from afar in horror!!! That's my baby on a really big roller coaster!!!!!!!!! She was smiling and waving at me totally excited!! I am speechless and a nervous wreck at this point. I watch as the ride goes up spins around, goes on a part of the ride backward, spins again to a 100foot drop to spray water on everyone!!! She did great and was not even scared according to her dad. Once the ride is over they drive around to where you can get off, I was thinking okay they made it,( I can see her smiling and waving to me), this is when the ride BROKE!!!! They were stuck on it for ~30min, they had to bring out the emergency release equipment and a bridge for them to be able to get off and the ride was shut down. She has not stopped talking about her ride and I haven't quite gotten over it, it will be a long time before she rides a roller coaster again!!

This is the Shamu roller coaster. She rode it several times. Her and David are in the 3rd seat, David is waving unfortunately you can't seen her. This was a very simple roller coaster, compared to the previous pictures.

Shamu... (Isabella took this picture, she is really good!!)

Wagon ride

In the afternoons after nap, the kids and I go on a walk. Usually Vinny is in the stroller while Isabella rides her bike or scooter. Today we decided it was time for his first wagon ride!! He loved it. Hope everyone had a great weekend!!
