Busy week...

It has been a busy week for us. Dave was able to come home, but only for 4days. We enjoyed having him here but the time went by to fast. We took him to the airport this morning, he is on his way to Boise. The plan is for him to be there until the end of May. Isabella had her 4yr old well child check. Dr. Baca said she was doing well. She had a vision and hearing screen, vision was perfect, hearing we are going to have to check again. She is 41in tall and 34.7lbs, long and lean. She had to get 5 vaccinations, that was quite traumatic. Granny treated her to CiCi's pizza after her shots. Vincent has been showing interest in food and now that he is 6mo.old, we thought it was time to feed him. He loves it!!! So far he has done well with everything we have given him. To top our week off Vincent's second tooth broke through!! This tooth was much easier than his first one. Two bottom teeth now!!! Enjoy the pictures....

Eating a biter biscuit, WOW did I forget how messy these are!!

Loving those carrots, he licked them off his tray.

6 Months Old!

It is so hard to believe our boy is 6 months old. My mother in law recently gave me a comic strip that said "The days are long, but the years are short", that is how I feel. I have no idea where the past 6 months went or how we survived them. Enjoy the pictures. Look at him sitting up!!

Finally some birthday pictures.

Here are a few pictures from Isabella's birthday party. We had a fancy fourth birthday. She got the idea from her favorite book Fancy Nancy By: Jane O'Connor. It is a wonderful series for those of you with fancy little girls. We made tieras and wore boas, played pin the fairy on the flower game and best of all enjoyed parfaits!! I think this was the
best part for the kids. Thank you to everyone who helped make her birthday special.
Enjoying a snack.

The girls outside playing on Isabella's set, don't they look fancy!!

All of the girls making their tieras for the party.

Playing with her new game Elefun, the elephant blows butterflies out of her trunk and you are to catch them with the nets, Isabella loves this game.

Getting a kiss from dad while enjoying my tiera birthday cake at Little Grandma's.

Captured moments...

I just had to post this picture of them being sweet to each other!!

Some fun...

Things have been busy here in the Palmisano household. We had Dave home for 2weeks, which is always nice. We were able to finish our outside spring planting and yard work. Our back yard has been transformed. This is my favorite time of year, beautiful days but not to hot!! Isabella, Vincent and myself have had congestion the past week which is never any fun. Vincent seemed to get the worst of it, he just wasn't acting himself and was keeping me up at night , ALL night which is unusual... Finally on Saturday morning I realized what must have been bothering him the most was that he was getting his first TOOTH!!!! It finally broke through his gum, and he is much better.....
I caught him chewing on my coffee table, I guess I should have known a tooth was on it's way, esp. with all the drooling he does. My baby is growing up.

Vincent's first time in the dolphin swing outside. He seemed to enjoy it. Watching the kids swing side by side was cool.

Isabella and her friend Eliza with unicorns painted on their face. We were at a local Art Festival which was celebrating the week of the young child. They had lots of arts and crafts for the kids to do, the girls had fun.

Vincent had outgrown his bathtub so I bought him the same duck bathtub I had for Isabella and he loves it. He likes to play and splash in the water. Isabella likes to help give him his bath. He also likes to look at himself in the mirror!!

This is Isabella rolling down the hill in our front yard while Dave and I did yard work. Vincent was watching her in amazement like he usually does. I would love to know what he thinks abut when he watches her!!

Sorry..

I am sorry for all the post at once. It has been really busy here lately. We also had a Fancy Fourth Birthday Party for Isabella on Saturday. I will post those pictures once I get them from my dad. He was my photographer, so I could enjoy the party and keep things running. I have never hosted a birthday party at my house before. A party at home that was "Fancy" was what Isabella wanted. We had 6 girls including Isabella , an almost 2 yr old boy, a 6mo old boy and of course Vincent at the party. That is a lot of kids to entertain. I hope everyone had a good time. I have always tried to make birthdays special, thank you to all that helped.

Happy Birthday Isabella!!!

Much to our surprise daddy made it home just in time for Isabella's birthday. We went to my mother in laws for dinner, I told Isabella I forgot something and had to go home, but I really went to the airport to pick Daddy up. When he walked in to the house she was so excited. We ended up having a extra special birthday dinner. It just wouldn't be the same without dad.

She asked for a princess tiera birthdady cake. Each year she asks for something more difficult and I am determined to make her cake each year. Hopefully I will get better.

Friday was Daddy's birthday. Isabella and dad went shopping for her birthday gift, Her new BIKE!! They also had a nice lunch together. I think the one on one time with her dad was really special and a nice birthday treat for dad.

Isabella took cupcakes to her friends at school on Wednesday.

Granny and I took Isabella to Applebees for a birthday lunch. They brought her ice cream and sang Happy Birthday. This was the first time we have had this done for her, the look on her face was priceless. She is still talking about it. Good idea Granny!!!

Happy Easter!!

Our annual Easter bunny cake, Isabella decorated it with her Easter candy this year!!

It's not Easter unless you dye eggs. This year I got the idea to try something new. I bought an egg dye kit that came with glitter. The directions made it sound easy, but it was NOT!!! I'm not even sure you can tell there is glitter on the eggs once they are done and it was a three step process. What was I thinking???

Isabella did 2 Easter egg hunts this year. One was at her school where they actually hid the eggs. The other was at the park, they just threw the eggs out and let the kids pick them up. There were way to many kids running around for me, but Isabella had fun.
